The Rotterdam Public Transport Museum keeps the history of public transport in and around Rotterdam alive.
From Saturday 3 May, Citytour Tram 10 will be diverted from Rotterdam Centraal to Delfshaven due to engineering works.
The stop at Delfshaven (D) will be moved to the other side of the intersection. From Saturday 24 May, Line 10 will return to its normal route. View diverted route map.
The Rotterdam Public Transport Museum keeps the history of public transport in and around Rotterdam alive.
At our museum depot in Hillegersberg, you can see a unique collection of trams and buses. Some of them actually run through the city, so you can experience this moving heritage up close.
We manage a unique collection of Rotterdam’s public transport heritage. This collection belongs to the city, and therefore to all the people of Rotterdam. With the help of nearly 200 volunteers, we take great care of it so that everyone can continue to enjoy it. That is why our trams and buses regularly travel through the city, for example on the Line 10 city tour. A large part of the collection can also be viewed in our museum depot.
The Rotterdam Public Transport Museum is a unique organisation, run entirely by volunteers. Together, we keep the history of Rotterdam’s public transport alive and visible throughout the city.
Through Citytour Line 10 and the hire of our trams and buses, we ensure that our historic vehicles continue to run. Our volunteers carry out maintenance, assist with restorations and ensure that the trams can operate safely and in good condition.
We also sometimes support the RET with special operations, such as towing services or snow clearance. With our expertise and our historic vehicles, we thus make an active contribution to a city that keeps moving.
